OS Requirements

  • Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 r2 or later versions (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Office 2010 Service Pack 1 o later versions

Software Requirements (requires admin permissions)

  • .NET Framework 4.x - latest version available recommended - 4.7 download link
  • Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office - download link
  • Windows OS bit-ness must to be equal to Excel Client bit-ness (both 32-bit or both 64-bit)

No additional constraint is required for Office bit-ness 


Formwork setup

Formwork setup is shipped in two different versions:


Formwork Excel Client (user) - Strongly reccomended

  • Install Formwork Excel addin on current user only
  • Does not require additional permissions on computer


Formwork Excel Client (machine)

  • Install Formwork Excel addin on all users on current computer
  • Requires administration permissions on computer





Requirements for not supported environments:

Formwork can also run on Windows XP and Office 2007, this environments are not supported anymore: use at your own risk.
